Brown Shipley are seeking an experienced FP&A Analyst on a FTC temporary basis, to join the Finance team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Management reporting month end tasks
2. Preparation of the monthly management reporting pack for presentation to the Executive Committee and BSCO Board (Quarterly) covering P&L, Balance Sheet, Capital, RWAs, AUM & Flows, FTE
3. Preparation of the monthly Flash P&L report for submission to the Group FP&A team.
4. Preparation of the monthly P&L and Balance Sheet forecast for inclusion in the management reporting pack and submission to the Group FP&A team.
5. Preparation of FTE and staff cost forecasting in conjunction with the Payroll manager.
6. Investigation of any material variances to budget with relevant business owners for revenues and costs.
7. Assist in the production of Monthly MI reports for Front office teams at an individual client advisor, team and office level.
8. Preparation of Finance report for monthly Brown Shipley performance discussion with Group management.
9. Preparation of Project and Initiative tracking summaries for inclusion in the Finance Report.
10. Trend Analysis across all KPIs, Budget and 5 Year Forecast process
11. Responsible for preparing local budgetary and forecasting templates and models in conjunction with other members of the local FP&A team to enable efficient preparation of annual budget and 5 year Forecast.
12. Key point of contact for Group FP&A team during the process, with responsibility for the population and submission of all Group Reporting templates and adherence to budgetary deadlines.
13. Responsible for preparing Budget packs for local management to assist in the preparation and review of the local budget submission and final approval by the Executive Committee and BSCO Board.
14. Responsible for resolving any queries raised by local management and Group FP&A teams and making any required adjustments to the budget submission

Knowledge & Experience

1. Experience in management reporting/FP&A roles, ideally within Financial Services.
2. Extensive experience of preparing financial reports for senior management.
3. Knowledge of how to build and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting.

Technical Skills

1. Extensive experience of extracting and manipulating data from Financial systems for report production purposes, with experience of the SAP general ledger and TM1 systems preferable but not essential.
2. Strong Excel knowledge, with an ability to manipulate large amounts of data quickly and accurately.
3. Experience with Power BI advantageous.
