Summary
The Senior Analyst – FP&A will be responsible for supporting the growth of CVP by providing insights and recommending data-driven decisions through building new processes and enhancing the existing Finance reporting structure. Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, they will optimize the forecasting & analytics technologies used by the Finance team (Adaptive & Power BI) and partner with cross-functional resources in Operations and Analytics. The candidate must have a proven track record in using data to drive actionable business insights. He or she must have a depth of expertise in data management as well as the forecasting & reporting of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
- Lead the adoption of new reporting & analytics technology (Power BI) and optimize the utilization of existing planning technologies (Adaptive)
- Lead the enhancement of financial modeling and reporting with a focus on automation, simplification, and IT digitization
- Design and implement BI solutions using SQL, Power BI, and other tools to visualize data and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and data analysis techniques to drive utilization of tools across the organization.
- Support the preparation of long & short-term forecasts, annual plans, etc. in all financial reporting tools
- Analyze hospital profitability trends across regions of maturity and recommend courses of action to maximize business growth and profitability
- Support executive leadership team on analyzing new business opportunities including M&A activities
- Partner directly with cross-functional team members, including members of the executive leadership team, to review function specific KPIs, P&L impacts, and opportunities

Summary

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the adoption of new reporting & analytics technology (Power BI) and optimize the utilization of existing planning technologies (Adaptive)

Supervisory Responsibilities
PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Required
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record in business intelligence, business analytics, FP&A or related fields in a multi-unit business environment. Required experience includes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or Finance roles with progressively increasing responsibilities.
- Systems experience in Power BI, Adaptive, Hyperion, or similar tools.
- Experience building business solutions using SQL or similar language.

Computer Skills
- Proficiency in Adaptive, Power BI, or similar products
- Proficiency in MS Excel, with a strong knowledge of pivot tables required.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite of products (Teams, OneDrive, Sharepoint, Word, Powerpoint) required.
- Proficiency with SQL is required
Travel Requirements
The role is remote with periodic visits to the support center home office in Philadelphia, PA (average one week every other month) to facilitate in-person learning with the Finance team and exposure to broader leadership team.
