Job summary

Distinct | B Corp, based in Leeds, is undergoing a finance transformation and looking for a partnering FP&A professional. The role involves translating financial data into clear analysis to support decision-making and contributing to expanding the FP&A systems during growth.

You will work closely with senior leadership on planning, forecasting, pricing, and business cases, building dashboards and insightful reporting packs to drive performance.

Qualifications

• Part or newly qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Experience in a finance team with solid cost and revenue analysis.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Production and reporting across all aspects of financial planning and forecasting.
• Building dashboards and reporting packs that turn data into actionable insight.
• Variance analysis and financial results commentary including underlying drivers.
• Business partnering with stakeholders on performance, cost drivers and financial implications.
• Supporting business case production including cost-benefit and ROI modelling.
• Contributing to process improvement, automation and system enhancements.

Job Description:

A well-established Financial Services business is going through a significant period of finance transformation. The team is scaling and this hire is part of a broader build-out.

This is a partnering focused FP&A role. You’ll be working closely with senior leadership, translating financial data into clear analysis that supports decision-making. You will be involved in developing the systems within the FP&A function to help the business continue through their growth period.

Role Overview:

About You:

• Comfortable operating in a less structured environment and building things out.
• Strong analytical capability with a track record of delivering useful insight.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
• Clear communicator able to adapt style across different stakeholders.
