Job summary

Evolve Personnel is recruiting for a Foundry Operative in Brownhills with training provided. Starting pay is £14.99 per hour on the agency, rising to £16.99 after 12 weeks, and £17.50 once trained. This full-time, temp-to-perm role offers stable hours and the chance for permanent employment.

You will operate induction furnaces, load/unload materials, monitor temperatures and processing steps, and perform routine equipment checks while maintaining safety and an orderly workspace.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a foundry or as a furnyman is preferred.
• Strong awareness of workplace health and safety requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable with good timekeeping.
• Good attention to detail in a manufacturing environment.

Furnaceman / Furnace Operator

Location: Brownhills
Job Type: Full-Time - Temp to Perm
Pay Rate: £14.99 per hour to £17.50 per/hour plus bonus
Working Hours whilst on the agency: Monday to Thursday: 10.15 am - 16.00 pm 08.30 am - 17.00 pm Friday

Once trained you will go onto continental shifts 4 on 4 off - 6.00 am - 18.00 pm

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Furnaceman / Furnace Operator to join a reputable and growing manufacturer based in Brownhills. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with foundry experience who is looking for stable hours and the chance to secure a permanent position.
