Job summary

PDR Solutions Ltd. in Rochester is recruiting for an aerospace foundry to operate in aluminium investment casting. You will work in a demanding environment handling molten metal and mould preparation.

The role requires physical fitness and prior manufacturing experience, with potential overtime. Temp-to-perm progression offers permanent employment and benefits after completion of the probation period.

Qualifications

• High degree of physical fitness required.
• Experience in Manufacturing/Factory/Production/Construction environment preferred.
• Good work ethic.
• Good level of physical coordination.
• Excellent time keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Aluminium melt preparation prior to casting.
• Cleaning and preparing moulds for casting.
• Pouring molten metal into the moulds (casting).
• Moving moulds following casting.
• Removing the ceramic shell from the finished cast.
• Reporting any issues with production machinery to team leaders.
