Job summary

Universal Care Group in Nuneaton is seeking a Registered Supported Accommodation Manager to lead a brand-new service for young people. You’ll help shape the culture, values, and delivery from day one, with hands-on support from a senior Responsible Individual during opening and beyond.

Qualifications

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or Ofsted-accepted equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience in supported accommodation or similar.
• Minimum 2 years' experience working with vulnerable young people.
• Strong knowledge of the Supported Accommodation (England) Regulations 2023 and Quality Standards.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the supported accommodation service in line with standards.
• Lead quality assurance and inspections preparation (Ofsted etc.).
• Develop and oversee person-centred support plans promoting independence.
• Recruit, induct, supervise, and develop staff.
• Maintain safeguarding procedures and accurate records and reports.
• Communicate with local authorities, social workers and partner agencies.
• Represent the service in multi-agency meetings and reviews.
• Monitor progress and adapt plans to changing needs.
