Job summary

HelmGuard, based in London, is building agent-native risk infrastructure and hiring a senior software engineer to ship end-to-end product features across frontend, backend and the agent-powered layer. You’ll own from concept to delivery, working closely with customers and frontend/engineering teams to craft useful, high-quality experiences.

You’ll bring 6+ years shipping production software, strong TypeScript and React skills, and a proven ability to balance speed with robust design.

Qualifications

• 6+ years shipping production software across the stack in a small, fast-moving team.
• Track record of decisions turned into shipped features used by customers.
• Genuine product instinct — distinguish useful from impressive and focus on usefulness.
• Front-to-back range: a React UI customers love and the supporting API/data model.
• AI-native working style with Claude Code in daily workflow.
• High agency — you see gaps, you close them, you act without being told.

Responsibilities

• Ship customer-facing product end to end — frontend, backend, and agent-powered features.
• Own features from its worth to design, build, and delivery, including UX and API.
• Collaborate closely with customers and FDEs, turning feedback into shipped products.
• Bring product and design taste — prioritize usability and polish, not just correct code.
• Move fast with Claude Code and AI tooling, avoiding anything you'd fear in a security review.
• Leave the codebase better as you progress through it.
