Job summary

GreenTech is seeking a Founding Software Engineer to own the Product & Platform end-to-end. You will work directly with the CEO and a Senior Data Scientist to shape architecture, roadmaps and product, not just maintain existing code.

This genuinely founding role offers ownership of platform security, reliability, and multi-tenant SaaS features, with hands-on work across AWS, IaC, CI/CD and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong TypeScript across Node.js and React.
• Experience with AWS and infrastructure as code.
• Security-focused with authentication, TLS and IAM.
• Experience running production services with CI/CD and containers.
• Ability to ship user-facing features with a product mindset.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship features for site analysis and planting design.
• Own platform security, reliability and usability.
• Harden and launch AWS environment.
• Own IaC and deployment pipeline.
• Implement alerting, observability and disaster recovery.
• Improve performance, accessibility and product polish.
• Develop multi-tenant SaaS capabilities.
• Collaborate with users and CEO to turn requirements into product features.
