Job summary

Oliver Bernard is hiring a Founding Forward Deployed Engineer in London, hybrid. You will build core product capabilities from scratch, design AI-powered workflows, and partner directly with customers to drive real-world impact.

You’ll own the architecture, develop dashboards and integrations, and help scale engineering as the company grows, delivering AI/LLM-powered applications with a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

Founding Forward Deployed Engineer | £90,000 to £110,000 + Equity | London (Hybrid)

I'm working exclusively with an ambitious AI startup that's looking to hire its Founding Forward Deployed Engineer.

This is a rare opportunity to join as one of the first engineering hires, working directly with the founders to build AI-powered products that solve complex operational challenges for enterprise customers.

This isn't a role where you'll sit behind a backlog. You'll work closely with customers, understand how they operate, identify opportunities for automation, and build software that delivers immediate business value.
