Job summary

FireCheckr in London is hiring its founding engineer to own the platform's architecture, scalability, and reliability for essential safety workflows. You will shape the core tech, balance fast delivery with durable design, and directly influence the engineering direction as the first hire.

You will work with a modern stack (TypeScript, Next.js, React, tRPC, Supabase, Vercel, Capacitor, LLM APIs) and have the opportunity to grow into leadership as the team expands.

Qualifications

• Ideally 3–4+ years of experience, preferably in startups and AI products.

Today, our co-founder Clemens builds the product. He works as a forward-deployed product engineer, close to customers, shipping what they need. Now we need someone to own the foundation underneath: architecture, scalability, reliability, and taking our platform to the next level.You'll build the platform behind some of the most important safety workflows in the country, and you'll have the freedom to shape how it's built. You make the big technical calls, and you're excited to own them.You'll be our first engineering hire.
