Agentic Systems in London is seeking a founding software engineer to help build production-grade AI agents. This is a hands-on role at an early-stage startup, requiring ownership and the ability to learn new technologies.

You will explore backend, AI and geospatial data, building robust software that works in real-world environments. We are not looking for prompt engineers; we want someone who loves solving hard problems, taking ownership, and shaping the engineering culture as the company

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience building production software.
• Genuine enthusiasm for AI and emerging technologies.
• Experience with LLMs, agents or AI-powered products.
• Strong in Python, Rust, C++, Java or similar.
• Someone who thrives with ownership, ambiguity and learning quickly.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship agentic AI systems from the ground up.
• Collaborate across backend, AI and geospatial data.
• Experiment with new tech and turn ideas into production software.
• Own problems end-to-end from architecture to deployment; shape engineering culture
