Job summary

MBN Solutions is seeking a hands-on Founding Engineering Manager to shape our engineering team, set standards, and drive delivery alongside the founders. You will influence product direction through close collaboration with leadership and a culture of ownership across the engineering org.

You will lead hiring, guide architecture choices, and run rapid experiments to validate ideas, shipping production code and engaging with customer CTOs and CISOs.

Qualifications

• Proven technical leadership with track record improving engineers.
• Strong product judgement turning customer feedback into outcomes.
• Hands-on coding ability across backend, infrastructure, DevOps and AI.
• Experience in early-stage leadership or as a founder.

Responsibilities

• Coach engineers, lead hiring and performance management, and build a culture of ownership.
• Set technical standards, guide architecture decisions and improve delivery.
• Partner with the founders on product priorities, using customer conversations and real usage to guide decisions.
• Run small, measurable experiments: test ideas, learn quickly and decide what to build, change or stop.
• Ship production code and represent engineering in conversations with customer CTOs and CISOs.
