Job summary

Venmark Holdings Limited is seeking a highly capable engineer to join as technical hire #2, embedding with acquired businesses across the UK and building an AI-powered platform. You will identify tedious manual processes, scope impactful improvements, and ship software quickly to transform operations.

You will shape the platform architecture, lead the engineering efforts, and drive automation across document generation, scheduling, and integration with sensors, lab hardware, and legacy systems,

Qualifications

• Strong engineer capable across tech stack and ships real systems without hand-holding.
• Willingness to travel 2–3 days a week to work with UK-based acquired companies.
• Mature product mindset with pragmatic trade-offs and ownership of problems end-to-end.
• Experience with AI/ML in prod is a plus; cloud infra skills helpful.

Responsibilities

• Embed with acquired businesses to understand operations and build the core AI platform.
• Identify high-leverage opportunities, scope, and ship working software within weeks.
• Lead platform architecture discussions and help scale the engineering team.
• Drive AI-powered automation across documents, scheduling, and legacy workflows.
