Job summary

Softweb Resourcing Limited in London is seeking a Founding AI Engineer to join a pre-seed video and computer vision startup, building agentic workflows and AI-powered video tools.

You’ll own AI engineering end-to-end, work directly with the founders, and have major impact on product quality, infra efficiency and technical direction.

This is a rare early hire with high autonomy and hands-on responsibility to shape the next generation of the product.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in Applied AI / ML / MLOps.
• Experience building eval frameworks.
• Strong Python and production AI systems experience.
• Experience with LLMs, Generative AI, prompt engineering or agentic workflows.
• Startup mindset with a hands-on, product-focused approach.
• Computer vision / video / rendering / graphics experience beneficial.

Founding AI Engineer – Applied AI / Computer Vision - London / Hybrid

We’re looking for a Founding AI Engineer to join an exciting pre-seed video / computer vision start-up building cutting-edge agentic workflows and AI-powered video tools used in large-scale media environments. With multiple deals signed, now is a terrific time to join.

This is a rare opportunity to become the first dedicated AI hire in a fast-moving revenue generating startup already running frontier AI models in production. You’ll work directly with the founders, own AI engineering end-to-end, and have a major impact across product quality, infrastructure efficiency and technical direction.

We’re looking for a high calibre AI Engineer that will be a key hire where you’ll make a significant contribution to the product, with high autonomy and working on the next generation of product.

What we’re looking for:
