Job summary

Founders Factory is hiring a Founder Community Lead to build and run the top of our founder funnel. You will ensure every new venture has engaged prospective founders before it needs one. You’ll own the Founder Bench, sourcing founders through partnerships and keeping it active with four events a quarter.

You’ll join the talent team to help matching founders to ventures and maintain a rigorous CRM-driven pipeline for ongoing engagement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in founder-facing work (VC platform, accelerator, founder programme).
• Strong network among founders and operators.
• Good judgement to distinguish strong operators from storytellers in conversations.
• Proven track record of running events with clear follow-up.
• Ability to sell a venture designed with a corporate partner.
• Disciplined pipeline habits and accurate CRM/tracker.
• Commitment to building diverse founder pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Build a steady flow of experienced founders, operators and domain experts.
• Run first conversations, write founder notes, and tag founder archetype, sector, stage and availability.
• Share founder terms when they join the bench to ensure clarity before commitment.
• Build referral routes with portfolio founders, investors, operator communities and university spinout offices.
• Sector founder drinks; weekly open studio office hours; partner events with universities.
• Maintain bench engagement and regular updates; ensure longlists for ventures within two weeks.
• Report monthly on bench size, quality, diversity and progression to trials and selection.
