Job summary

Eden Brown Synergy is seeking a passionate Foundation Studies Lecturer to join a dedicated team at a Leading Further Education College in Widnes on a temporary, part-time basis. You will teach and support learners with additional learning needs, helping them develop academic, personal and employability skills to progress towards independence, further study or employment.

The role includes delivering a varied timetable with Functional Skills Maths and English, and collaborating with Additional

• Holds a recognised teaching qualification.
• Has experience teaching within Further Education, Foundation Learning or SEND provision.
• Can plan and deliver creative, engaging and differentiated lessons.
• Committed to promoting independence, confidence and positive outcomes for learners.
• Works effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, including Additional Learning Support staff.
• Has excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a varied and engaging curriculum across the Foundation Studies provision as per timetable.
• Support learners with additional learning needs to develop academic, personal and employability skills.
• Collaborate with Additional Learning Support staff to promote inclusive learning.
• Ensure DBS checks are completed as required.

Role: Foundation Studies Lecturer
Location: Cheshire/Merseyside area
Rate: 35p/h
Starting 1st September
Contract: Temp, Part Time.

This rewarding role involves teaching and supporting learners with a range of additional learning needs, helping them develop the academic, personal and employability skills they need to progress towards greater independence, further study or employment.

About the Role

You will deliver a varied and engaging curriculum across the Foundation Studies provision, for the following timetable:

• Monday 13.00 - 16.00
• Pathway to Progression, Mixed Options - IT, Enrichment games
• Tuesday 13.00 - 16.00
• Job Club - preparing pre-interns for work experience, interview skills etc etc.
• Thursday 9.00 - 12.00
• Functional Skills Maths
• Friday 9.00 - 12.00
• Functional Skills English

We are looking for someone who:
