Job summary

NHS National Services Scotland, now part of Public Services Delivery Scotland, is seeking a Foundation Programme Director for S12 FY1 & FY2. This is a part-time role (1 PA, 4 hours per week) for a fixed term of 36 months, with remote-friendly working in the UK.

The post leads the Foundation Programme, requires Recognition of Trainer status, and can be combined with educational/clinical supervision. Applications close 4 November 2026; interviews 18 November 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience managing Foundation Programme (S12 FY1/FY2) delivery.
• Must hold Recognition of Trainer status or equivalent.
• Experience in medical education and supervision.
