Job summary

NHS England is seeking a Training Programme Director: Foundation Trainee Pharmacists to lead the foundation trainee pharmacist programme across the North West. You will work with training providers, educational supervisors and NHS leaders to ensure quality education across community and other sectors.

The role involves strategic leadership, policy development, and coordination of workplace learning, with a focus on collaboration across multi-professional teams and regional pharmacy education

Qualifications

• Essential: Masters level or equivalent senior leadership in Pharmacy/healthcare leadership
• Registered with General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
• Experience in healthcare education management or commissioning

Responsibilities

• Provide professional leadership and expertise for the Foundation trainee pharmacist programme
• Lead development of policy, process and infrastructure to support workplace learning
• Quality manage training programme in key areas
• Support local Educational Supervisors and multi-professional training networks
• Contribute to multi-professional training and workforce transformation initiatives
