Job summary

CNTW NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to integrate education, training and advanced clinical practice within Community Treatment Teams. The role focuses on medicines optimisation, patient safety and patient-centred care while enhancing professional development for pharmacists and trainees.

The post involves coordinating placements, leading on the NHSE foundation year training plan, and delivering in-house and regional learning sessions.

Qualifications

• Qualified pharmacist with UK registration.
• Experience in education and training for pharmacists or graduates.
• Experience in community pharmacy or clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Support education and training across undergraduate, foundation and post-registration programmes.
• Manage placements and ensure quality and continuity.
• Lead on annual foundation year training plan submissions and organise learning sessions.
• Support undergraduate MPharm placements with university partners and mentors.
• Drive development of pharmacy education and training and embed workforce planning.
• Provide advanced clinical pharmacy practice and independent prescribing where applicable within the team.
