Job summary

Manchester Metropolitan University’s Manchester Fashion Institute seeks a Lecturer in Fashion Marketing to deliver engaging teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. You will shape curricula, supervise projects and connect learning to real-world fashion industry practice.

You will bring a strong background in fashion marketing, branding, digital marketing and consumer behaviour, with a commitment to inclusive learning and ongoing scholarship within a supportive academic

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• Experience teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
• Commitment to inclusive learning environments and student success.
• Willingness to work towards FHEA within three years.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver teaching, assessment and supervision across programmes.
• Support students through personal tutoring and pastoral support.
• Contribute to curriculum development and student experience initiatives.
• Bring digital, inclusive and sustainable perspectives to fashion marketing.
• Collaborate with colleagues and external partners on practice-based projects.
• Contribute to scholarship, research and knowledge exchange.
• Build relationships with industry networks to keep teaching industry-relevant.
• Engage actively in the life of the Manchester Fashion Institute and university.
