Qualifications

  • Holds a relevant degree, vocational qualification, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Has experience teaching or supporting learners with additional needs, SEND, or Foundation Learning students.
  • Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Is passionate about learner success and inclusive education.
  • Holds a recognised teaching qualification or is willing to work towards one.
  • Demonstrates strong organisational and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across Foundation Learning programmes.
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet a variety of learner needs and abilities.
  • Support students in developing employability, personal, social and independent living skills.
  • Monitor learner progress and provide timely feedback and support.
  • Create an inclusive and positive learning environment that promotes student achievement and wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, parents/carers, and external agencies where appropriate.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement activities.

Working within our Foundation Learning provision, you will deliver engaging and inclusive learning programmes that support students with a range of abilities and educational needs. You will play a key role in helping learners achieve their individual goals and reach their full potential.

Duties
