Job summary

Orange Grove Fostering Services Yorkshire is seeking a qualified Supervising Social Worker to provide professional supervision to Foster Parents and ensure high standards of safeguarding and care for children.

The role involves collaboration with local authorities, schools, and health professionals, with travel across Leeds, Doncaster, Beverley, and surrounding areas. A full driving licence and car are required.

Qualifications

• Strong safeguarding knowledge and child protection procedures.
• Experience completing Form F assessments and Foster Parent reviews.
• Ability to assess risk and promote children's welfare.
• Excellent report writing and ability to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel across Leeds, Doncaster, Beverley and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision to Foster Parents within a manageable caseload.
• Provide regular supervision to allocated Foster Parents and monitor practice.
• Collaborate with children, Foster Parents, professionals and local authorities on safeguarding and planning.
