Job summary

Recruitment Services UK is seeking a Supervising Social Worker to join a dedicated fostering team in Harrow. You will support a small caseload of foster carers, providing supervision and professional guidance to ensure safe, stable homes for children.

The post requires a registered Social Worker (Social Work England) with at least 3 years in children's services, excellent report writing and communication skills, and a full UK driving licence with access to a car.

Qualifications

• Registered Social Worker (Social Work England).
• 3+ years in children's services, fostering or Looked After Children (LAC) preferred.
• Excellent communication, report writing and organisational skills.
• Full UK driving licence with access to your own car.

Responsibilities

• Offer regular supervision and support to foster carers.
• Ensure placements are safe, stable and meet children's needs.
• Complete assessments and reports, including Form F assessments.
• Liaise with local authorities and attend reviews and planning meetings.
• Contribute to foster carer training and development.
