Job summary

Thrive Fostering is seeking a Registered Manager with fostering experience to lead the agency's services in line with Ofsted and national standards. You will be responsible for the strategic and operational performance, safeguarding, and ensuring high-quality outcomes for children and foster carers.

You will drive business growth, manage relationships with Local Authorities, and lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver placements, policy adherence, and continuous service improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience as Registered Manager in foster care or social care setting.
• Knowledge of Ofsted requirements and the Fostering Services (England) Regulations 2011 and National Minimum Standards.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to develop and implement service improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational, strategic and commercial performance of the agency.
• Ensure safeguarding and regulatory compliance across services.
• Build and maintain Local Authority partnerships; negotiate contracts.
• Oversee placement services, foster carer support, and quality assurance.
• Produce regular KPI and performance reports for the Directors.
