We are seeking an experienced practitioner to join AfC’s Fostering & Kinship team.
The team handles typical fostering duties, including recruitment, assessment, training, supervision/support, duty services, supervising Regulation 24 arrangements, as well as Form F, Form C, and Special Guardianship Assessments. The role also involves ensuring families are adequately supported to meet the needs of vulnerable or traumatised children in their care.
Previous experience in a fostering team is preferred; however, the council values support and development, so relevant understanding and exposure to fostering practices will be considered.
