Job summary

Bradford Children and Families Trust is seeking an Assessing Social Worker (Fostering) to join the Recruitment & Assessment Team in Bradford. The role involves completing full mainstream fostering assessments (Form F) within regulatory timescales and presenting to the Fostering Panel.

You'll work with Fostering Recruitment Officers, provide supervision, manage a caseload, and contribute to foster carer training and enrichment events, with hybrid/home working on offer.

Qualifications

• MA in Social Work, BA in Social Work or equivalent professional qualification.
• Registration with Social Work England is required.
• Driving licence essential or access to a car.

Responsibilities

• Carry out full mainstream fostering assessments (Form F) within regulatory timescales.
• Work with Fostering Recruitment Officers on home visits and pre-approval activities.
• Deliver pre-approval training and support foster carer training and enrichment events.
