About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Public Law Solicitor to join our team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified legal professional looking to maintain a fulfilling career while enjoying work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
• Advise clients on public law matters including judicial review, human rights issues, and regulatory challenges
• Represent clients in proceedings before courts and tribunals
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, witness statements, and legal opinions
• Engage with public bodies and government departments
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the firm
• Stay updated on relevant legal developments and case law
Requirements
• Qualified solicitor with proven experience in public law (+3yrs PQE)
• Strong understanding of administrative law principles and judicial review
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives
• Experience managing complex caseloads efficiently
• Experience of supervising paralegals
• Commitment to providing exceptional client service
