Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is helping to recruit Step-Forward Foster Carers in Conwy to welcome children leaving residential care into stable, nurturing homes. The role offers £1,000 per week per child, plus additional payments for holiday, birthday and other celebrations, with full-time or self-employed arrangements.

You will work to provide routine, safety and emotional support for children in foster care. Applicants should have patience, empathy and a commitment to helping children stay connected

Responsibilities

• Full-time care for a child or sibling group moving from residential care
• Offering continued stability, routine, and reassurance
• Support the child's emotional, behavioural, and social development
• Working closely with social workers, therapists and other professionals
• Keeping clear records and provide therapeutic, nurturing support
• Ensuring that the child can maintain important links to their wider family
