Job summary

vibehackers seeks a Forward Deployed Strategist to own strategic customer engagements at Cursor from workshop through delivery, translating executive priorities into tightly scoped, high-impact projects. Partner with Forward Deployed Engineers to deliver and operationalize AI-native workflows while driving adoption and executive alignment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Solutions Architecture, Deployment Strategy, technical consulting, or Engagement roles owning scoping and delivery with technical teams in AI-production workflows.
• Practical understanding of agentic coding and LLMs: production behavior, failure modes, and resilient workflows.
• Proven track record shipping AI-native workflows beyond prototype to production and distinguishing real constraints from nice-to-haves.
• Strong executive presence and ability to build trust with C-suite sponsors and engineering leaders.
• Domain expertise in FSI, insurance, telecom, high-tech, healthcare/life sciences, or semiconductor is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Scope engagements with executive sponsors: translate ambiguous business problems into concrete, time-boxed deliverables with clear ROI.
• Lead technical discovery and architecture reviews to surface integration complexity and infrastructure constraints.
• Work side-by-side with FDEs on the technical build: ownership of configuration-layer workflows, integrations, and platform tooling that do not require heavy code.
• Drive technical enablement and adoption: run hands-on training, build playbooks and reference workflows, and coach customer teams until self-sufficient.
• Monitor technical feasibility throughout delivery and adjust scope with sponsors as constraints emerge.
• Identify and scope expansion opportunities during delivery in partnership with the account team.
• Escalate product gaps, integration friction, and recurring customer pain to Product and Engineering with actionable specificity.
• Build reusable playbooks to increase the broader FDE organization’s capability.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for executive stakeholders from kickoff through handoff and sell the vision and plan to C-suite sponsors.

Role

Forward Deployed Strategist responsible for leading high-value customer engagements from scoping through delivery and adoption. You will own the executive relationship, translate business problems into time-boxed technical deliverables, and partner closely with Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) to deliver production-ready AI-native workflows.
