Snowplow Analytics is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with various business functions and redesign how work runs using agentic workflows on our platform. You will map current processes, build AI-driven workflows, and determine when humans should intervene vs.

when agents can act autonomously. The role spans collaborating with function leaders, tuning agent behavior with domain experts, and delivering reusable patterns for the platform.

Qualifications

• Shipped real software in someone else's stack.
• You are fluent in at least one of Python, TypeScript, or Go, and you pick up the others as the work needs them.
• Built with LLMs in production with agents or agentic workflows.
• Spoken with non-engineers to understand their work and map processes.
• Self-direction and comfort with ambiguity.
• Clear communication with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• The workflow map: map how work actually runs today with stakeholders.
• The build: design and build agentic workflows on Snowplow's framework.
• Approval gates: decide how agents act and what gets recorded.
• Agent readiness: define knowledge and quality bars for agents.
• The last twenty percent: ensure reliability and handle edge cases.
• The handoff: train function to run and evolve what you built.
• The pattern itself: document workflow mapping for future engagements.
