Job summary

Mistral is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to help deploy cutting-edge AI solutions for enterprise customers. You will work across pre-sales to implementation, bridging research and real-world applications with strong customer engagement.

You will collaborate with researchers and engineers on complex projects, including fine-tuning, state-of-the-art LLM apps, and contributing to open-source codebases. Strong technical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• You are fluent in English and can communicate complex ideas clearly.
• 2+ years experience as a technical individual contributor (data scientist or software engineer) on AI-based products.
• Proven experience in AI or ML product implementation with APIs, back-end and front-end interfaces.
• Experience with Fine-Tuning LLMs and tackling advanced RAG or agentic use cases.
• Deep understanding of ML/LLMs concepts and algorithms.
• Strong Python coding skills.
• Strong communication and ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

• Work on state-of-the-art GenAI applications with customers to drive transformation.
