Job summary

Jaguar TCS Racing is seeking a proactive Garage Technician to support workshop and trackside operations for our Formula E programme. You will manage tyres, TPMS and equipment across factory and trackside environments, ensuring readiness for sessions and events.

You will coordinate with Engineering and Chief Mechanics, handling freight, stock control and maintenance of pit infrastructure, while upholding safety and process standards at all venues.

Qualifications

• Motorsport event garage operational experience (factory and trackside) is required.
• Experience in tyre management at race/test events, including pressure adjustments and liaising with engineers and suppliers.
• Strong knowledge of race truck preparation/operation and stock keeping.
• Familiarity with road and air freight operations.
• Confident, self-starting team player adaptable to fast-paced race/test environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a Garage Technician at the factory and trackside events.
• Manage the team's wheel and tyre inventory in collaboration with Engineering, including TPMS fitting and event management.
• Plan and administer team truck operations, including loading, inventory control and event bookings.
• Maintain all team consumable stocks, coordinating with Chief Mechanics for timely re-stocking.
• Oversee pit equipment and off-car hardware, ensuring readiness and daily maintenance.
• Assist with assembly and maintenance of race/test garage infrastructures and equipment upkeep.
• Support freight operations: organisation, packing, loading/unloading, and documentation (Carnet lists, inventories).
• Act as the key contact for storage of pit equipment, maintaining PDN docs and inventories.
• Ensure workshop, race, and test locations remain organized, clean, and efficient; use offsite storage as needed.
• Escalate equipment or operational issues to management promptly.
