GM Performance Power Units is seeking a Process Quality Engineer to ensure robust, defect-free manufacturing and assembly of power unit systems. You will own quality across in-house manufacturing, sub-assembly, and final assembly, aligning engineering intent with production capability.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, strong technical depth, and experience applying APQP, SPC, MSA, and CAPA in high-performance manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/manufacturing engineering or related field.
• Strong experience in process/manufacturing quality environments.
• Proven knowledge of GD&T, APQP/PPAP, SPC and MSA.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain process controls, inspection criteria and QA standards for machining, additive and assembly.
• Lead APQP deliverables (PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flows) and ensure readiness.
• Support builds with torque verification, leak tests, functional checks and dimensional validation.
• Drive nonconformance resolution and CAPA using structured root cause analysis.
