corelab in Aberdeen is seeking a Formation Damage Laboratory Analyst to perform routine and advanced testing on geological materials and fluids, and to report results that inform reservoir performance.

You will operate precision laboratory equipment, support test programme design, ensure QA/QC compliance, and collaborate with technical specialists, business development personnel, and clients on continuous improvement initiatives. Travel to offshore sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Relevant laboratory experience with analytical testing and data processing.
• Minimum HNC or equivalent in a science subject, or relevant experience.
• Degree in a physical science related subject is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Perform laboratory testing on geological, fluid, and gas samples as per procedures and client requirements.
• Conduct formation damage studies, including permeability measurements and compatibility assessments.
• Operate, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
• Record, analyse, review, and report test data to client specifications.
• Complete laboratory worksheets, records, and reports accurately and on time.
• Assist in designing testing programmes and workflows with technical teams.
• Support development of new products and services through testing and improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure efficient lab operations and data consistency.
• Assist with training and development of colleagues.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and comply with QA/QC procedures.
• Identify and report safety or compliance issues and participate in CAPA activities.
• Maintain confidentiality of company and client information at all times.
• Support client engagement by presenting analytical methodologies and results.
• Travel domestically and internationally, including offshore assignments, as required.
