Job summary

CL Recruitment Group is seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative to join the logistics team. The role involves stock handling, order fulfilment, inventory management and maintaining a safe, efficient workspace.

You'll gain full training in warehouse processes, operate forklift trucks when required, and work as part of a supportive team focused on quality and timely shipping and receiving operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations or logistics preferred.
• Knowledge of materials handling techniques and safety procedures.
• Ability to operate forklift trucks safely (certification desirable).
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) advantageous.
• Experience in shipping, receiving, picking, packing, stocking and load/unload activities.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for quality checks.
• Physical fitness for heavy lifting and manual handling.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills within a warehouse team.

Responsibilities

• Handling materials efficiently and safely within the warehouse environment
• Operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery (training provided)
• Managing stock levels using the warehouse management system (WMS)
• Loading and unloading goods from lorries and containers
• Conducting quality control checks to ensure product integrity
• Assisting with shipping and receiving processes
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace at all times
• Supporting mechanical maintenance tasks where required
