Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking a reliable forklift driver for ongoing temporary work in a busy warehouse environment in the UK. You will operate a counterbalance forklift, move goods, and assist with picking/packing and goods in/out. Some van driving duties are also included to support deliveries.

The role is temporary with full-time hours and the potential to become permanent, offering weekly pay and 28 days’ annual leave. A valid FLT licence and clean driving record are essential.

Qualifications

• Driver's licence with no more than 6 points.
• Externally accredited FLT licence.
• Warehouse and van driving experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the counterbalance forklift and move goods within the stores.
• Support wider warehouse operations with goods in/out, picking and packing.
• Occasional van driving to support deliveries or collections.

Join a well-established industrial team as the forklift driver!
You will be responsible for safely operating the counterbalance forklift, to move goods about the business and maintain clean and organised stores. This role also involves supporting the wider warehouse operation with goods in/out, picking and packing and ensuring orders are filled. There are some elements of van driving involved also so you must have experience with van driving.

Duration: Ongoing work with full-time hours, there is also a potential for this position to become permanent employment.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: This role pays £13.50 per hour and you may accrue up to 28 days annual leave.Please note we do not offer visa sponsorship.

Working Hours: Monday – Thursday shifts are either:07:45am – 16:00pm08:45- 17:00pmFriday – 08:00-16:00
