Job summary

New Appointments Group is recruiting a packaging operative and FLT driver in Sittingbourne for a client that is a world leader in flexible packaging. The role can become permanent for the right candidate.

The position includes packing, labeling, wrapping and stacking goods, plus safe forklift operation. Shift flexibility begins with 6am start and may run until 10pm; hours are 8.00am–4.00pm initially. Pay is £12.71 per hour. Diversity and inclusion are valued in line with the Equality Act 2010.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a warehouse environment or similar setting.
• Ability to follow health and safety procedures at all times.

Responsibilities

• Pack products into bags and place into boxes for dispatch.
• Print and apply labels accurately to finished goods.
• Wrap products manually or with shrink-wrap equipment.
• Move goods to the dispatch area efficiently.
• Use pump truck to transport items safely within warehouse.
• Assist with machine loading and line operations.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
