Job summary

New Appointments Group in Sittingbourne is seeking a Packaging Operative and FLT Driver for a client, a global leader in flexible packaging. The role initially runs 8.00am–4.00pm, though you must be able to start from 6am and work until 10pm due to a shift system.

You will pack products into bags and boxes, print and apply labels, wrap goods, move items using a pump truck, assist with line loading, and maintain a clean, safe workspace. Forklift licences may be internal or external.

Qualifications

• Experience in packaging and stacking goods.
• Able to operate forklift equipment.
• Willingness to start early and work shifts.
• Attention to health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Pack products into bags and boxes for dispatch.
• Print and apply accurate labels to finished goods.
• Wrap products using manual or shrink-wrap methods.
• Move goods to the dispatch area efficiently.
• Use a pump truck to move items safely in the warehouse.
• Assist with machine operations including loading product onto lines.
• Maintain a clean, organised working environment.
