Job description

Robert Half is proud to partner with a manufacturing business in Haverhill that is seeking a certified Forklift Driver to join their day team as a Technician on a temporary basis, with the potential for a permanent role in the future. This immediate-start position is due to sickness cover and requires candidates who are available on short notice. The role offers an hourly rate of £13-£16 plus holiday pay.

Requirements:

• Valid forklift truck license/proof of training

Daily Responsibilities:

1. Moving materials using a forklift truck
2. Shipping orders globally
3. Sampling and labeling finished products and raw materials
4. Handling dangerous materials
5. Issuing paperwork for loading/unloading tankers, lorries, and containers
6. Printing shipping labels
7. Booking material movements in SAP
8. Performing detailed SAP transactions accurately

Experience Required:

• Must hold an up-to-date forklift truck license
• Experience handling dangerous goods/chemicals is highly desirable
• Experience with SAP systems is advantageous
