Job summary

BSW Group is seeking an experienced FLT Driver at our York site to operate industrial forklifts, move materials, and support loading/unloading tasks. The role requires pre-operation checks, fault reporting, and ensuring availability of timber, pallets and packaging to sustain production.

You will represent the company professionally with stakeholders and demonstrate H&S awareness, accuracy and strong communication. A current FLT licence and a can-do attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Current counterbalance FLT licence or site-specific counterbalance licence.
• Strong health and safety awareness with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude.
• Experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to move raw materials and finished products around the site, including loading and unloading vehicles and kilns if required.
• Carry out daily pre-operating checks and record/report faults on a Defect Report.
• Ensure timber, pallets and packaging are available to maximise production and quality.
• Represent the company professionally when dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
