Job summary

ZAM FM LTD is seeking a Forklift Driver for a full-time, on-site role based in the East Midlands. You will operate forklifts to move, load and unload materials within warehouses and industrial facilities, following health and safety procedures and conducting basic equipment checks.

Responsibilities include handling shipments, transporting goods to storage areas, assisting with packing and material handling, and maintaining accurate movement records.

Qualifications

• Forklift operation skills with safe driving and basic inspection.
• Experience in loading/unloading, stacking and organizing goods.
• Knowledge of shipping/receiving processes and packing procedures.
• Adherence to health and safety standards in warehouse environments.
• Valid forklift certification or license and prior experience.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team.
• Basic numeracy and literacy for documentation and inventory.
• Willingness to work varying shifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to move, load and unload materials safely.
• Handle incoming and outgoing shipments and transport to storage areas.
• Assist with packing and material handling to support logistics operations.
• Follow health and safety procedures and conduct basic equipment checks.
• Maintain accurate records of materials moved or stored.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff and supervisors to ensure efficient workflows.
