Job summary

PE Global is recruiting on behalf of a leading global energy services company for an experienced Forklift Driver / Maintenance Assistant to join the Dyce, Aberdeen team. The role focuses on moving and preparing equipment to ensure assets are available when required, and supporting maintenance activities.

The position offers a busy operational environment with 37.5 hours per week, 6-month contract, and overtime including weekend on-call.

Qualifications

• Valid and active B1 and B2 Forklift Licence – essential.
• Previous forklift operating experience.
• Ability to work safely in a busy environment.
• Good attention to detail and record-keeping.
• A proactive and flexible approach to supporting maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to move and deliver equipment in line with operational requirements.
• Ensure equipment is delivered on time and in accordance with demands.
• Support Maintenance Manager, Supervisors and Technicians with day-to-day tasks.
• Carry out basic, non-invasive maintenance tasks under direction.
• Accurately record movements, work orders, materials, labour hours and activities in CMMS.
• Support efficient utilisation and performance of assets.
• Participate in continuous improvement to enhance availability and productivity.
• Work with the maintenance team to support service delivery.
