Job summary

Manpower (United Kingdom) is recruiting flexible Warehouse FLT Operators for a major food manufacturer in Barnwood, Gloucester, starting Jan 2027. The role involves operating FLTs, palletising orders, inventory control, and supporting production in a modern, hygienic facility. Assessments run through Nov–Dec 2026 with temp-perm opportunities.

Shifts are varied, including weekends. Competitive hourly pay with progression potential up to £36.95 per hour based on performance and training.

Qualifications

• Forklift license and material handling qualification.
• Experience or familiarity with logistics data and control systems.
• Competence with Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment to move products safely and efficiently.
• Build pallets and prepare orders for fulfilment.
• Safely handle and store materials and conduct stock checks.
• Track inventory and perform regular cycle counts.
• Load and unload trucks using a forklift.
• Assist with warehouse housekeeping and maintenance.
