Job summary

Pertemps Gloucester (Chiltern) Industrial is seeking a Forklift Driver for a full-time, temporary contract in Ledbury. This role involves operating a Counterbalance or Reach FLT within a busy warehouse, with a salary of £13 per hour and hours from 8:00 am to 16:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

A valid Counterbalance or Reach FLT licence is essential. You will receive deliveries, pick and pack orders, load goods for dispatch, and assist stock control with inventory checks while maintaining clear stock

Qualifications

Valid Counterbalance or Reach FLT licence (essential).
Previous warehouse experience preferred.
Experience using warehouse systems, ERP software and barcode scanners.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
Reliable, proactive and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Operating a Counterbalance or Reach FLT safely and efficiently
Receiving, checking and storing supplier deliveries
Picking, packing and loading customer orders for dispatch
Supporting stock control activities, including inventory checks and stock counts
Replenishing production areas and maximising warehouse space
Ensuring stock is clearly identified and stored correctly
Maintaining high standards of housekeeping within the warehouse and yard
Complying with all Health & Safety and quality procedures
