Job summary

GSK in Hertfordshire is seeking a Warehouse Operator on a 6-month fixed-term basis. The role involves operating MHE, equipment checks, and ensuring GMP-compliant processes across a 12-hour shift rotation (days/nights) in Ware, Hertfordshire.

Shifts rotate between days and nights, with a 12-hour pattern over 7 days. A forklift licence with 3+ years’ experience is essential, as are Maths/English GCSEs and IT proficiency in in-house systems.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence required with at least 3 years of forklift experience.
• Maths and English at GCSE level or above.
• IT literate and able to use in-house computer systems.
• Able to use own initiative and suggest improvements.

Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse mechanical handling equipment (MHE) such as Highracker, counterbalance and ride-on trucks.
• Carry out equipment checks to ensure safe operation at all times.
• Keep work area audit-ready and compliant with H&S policies and GMP.
• Follow SOPs and ensure compliance with GMP.
• Complete electronic and paper documentation accurately and promptly.
• Carry out cleaning to prevent cross-contamination.
• Stay up-to-date with training and development requirements.
