Staffline are recruiting for Forklift Materiel Handler Operatives in Tamworth at a large, active manufacturer specialising in plastic packaging goods.

The role offers part-time hours with a temp-to-perm opportunity and a rate of £16.03 per hour. Shifts include A and B options, with nights and long 12-hour blocks. Based in Tamworth, you will work on-site within a busy production environment and be part of a safety-conscious team.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 25kg.
• Comfortable working in a warm environment with 24/7 machinery in operation.
• Strong adherence to health and safety standards.
• Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic.
• Able to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries unloaded and scanned into the right areas. Loads include tonne bags of grained products, bagged goods to 25kg and palletised bagged goods.
• Wrapping pallets of completed moulded plastic goods, removing from production lines and rotating pallets, including labelling and loading for delivery.
• Stocktaking and locating stock in store areas, finding and tendering stock to production machines, then unloading via machinery and plant into hoppers and silos.
• Using scanners and paperwork to ensure stock inventory and locations are accurate.

A great opportunity to work as an Forklift Materiel Handler Operative for our client who are a large, active manufacturer specializing in plastic packaging goods.

Staffline are recruiting for Forklift Materiel Handler Operatives in Tamworth.

The hours of work are:

• A Shift - Friday, Saturday and Sunday - 22:00pm-06:00am, 18:00pm-06:00am and 18:00pm-06:00am
• B Shift - Saturday, Sunday and Monday 2 x 12-hours shifts and 1 x 8-hour shift as follows: 18:00pm-06:00am and 18:00pm-06:00am then 22:00pm-06:00am

The rate of pay is £16.03 per hour

Your Time at Work

• Deliveries unloaded and scanned into the right areas. Loads are tonne bags of grained products, as well as bagged goods to 25kg and palletised bagged goods.
