Job summary

Staffline is recruiting FLT Operatives in Wrexham to join a busy chilled foods facility serving top UK supermarkets. Rates are £13.65 (days) and £14.72 (nights) per hour, with overtime up to £22.08 per hour.

The role operates on 4 on 4 off shifts from 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am, with full training and temp-to-perm opportunities. Applicants should have a Reach/Counterbalance licence (training can be provided), be comfortable working in a cold store at -5°C, and demonstrate reliability, hard work

Responsibilities

• Supplying the factory with ingredients and packaging, using Reach and Counterbalance FLT.
• Operating handheld scanners or RF guns.
• Reading labels and codes accurately.
• Spotting discrepancies and damaged packaging.
• Counting quantities and handling units, boxes, cases and pallets.
• Following pick lists and scanner prompts; executing SOPs.
• Maintaining safe, efficient warehouse operations.

Great opportunity to work as an FLT Operative for our client, a professional yet friendly company who specialises in making and developing chilled meals for the top UK supermarkets, making over 3.7million chilled meals every week.

Staffline is recruiting FLT Operatives in Wrexham.

The rate of pay is:

• Days £13.65 per hour
• Nights £14.72 per hour

Overtime is available and is paid at:

• Days £20.48 per hour
• Nights £22.08 per hour

This is a full-time role, and the hours of work are:

• 4 on 4 off, 6am to 6pm
• 4 on 4 off, 6pm to 6am

Your Time at Work

The responsibilities of a FLT Operative, your duties will include:

• Supplying the factory with ingredients and packaging, Reach truck and Counterbalance FLT's
• Using handheld scanners or RF guns
• Reading labels and codes accurately
• Spotting discrepancies (wrong item, damaged packaging)
• Counting quantities correctly
• Working with units, boxes, cases, pallets
• Understanding pick lists, handheld scanner prompts
• Following standard operating procedures
• Working at a good pace without sacrificing accuracy
• Physically fit as bending, lifting, and reaching is required
• Using correct lifting techniques
• Following warehouse safety rules
