Job summary

HENI is seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver to join our Charlton-based team in southeast London. The role involves heavy manual handling, loading and unloading deliveries, and keeping the warehouse organized to support daily operations on-site and at occasional off-site locations.

You will move stock using forklifts and pallet trucks, carry out stock checks, and ensure health and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Proven warehouse experience with ability to perform heavy manual handling.
• Valid UK Flexi Forklift Licence.
• Valid UK Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
• Flexible to work at off-site locations when required.
• Good attention to detail and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Receive and check deliveries for accuracy and damage.
• Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Pick, pack, label and prepare orders for dispatch.
• Complete delivery and shipping paperwork accurately.
• Move stock using forklifts, pallet trucks and manual handling techniques.
• Carry out regular stock checks and record movements.
• Report damaged stock or safety concerns promptly.
