Job summary

HENI in London seeks a reliable Warehouse Operative and Forklift Driver for Charlton, southeast London. This hands-on role involves heavy manual handling, stock movement, loading/unloading deliveries, and keeping the warehouse organised.

You will operate forklifts, perform stock checks, pack and dispatch orders, and help with off-site stock moves when required while maintaining safety standards. Flexibility to work at other locations is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Flexi Forklift Licence and Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
• Proven warehouse experience and ability to work at pace.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Receive and check deliveries for accuracy and damage.
• Load/unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch.
• Complete delivery and shipping paperwork accurately.
• Move stock using forklifts and manual handling techniques.
• Carry out stock checks and record movements.
• Report stock discrepancies and equipment safety issues.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and health & safety.
