Stannah Stairlifts Inc. in Andover is seeking a Material Control Operative to join the Manufacturing department. The role oversees inventory control, working with purchasing, goods inwards and dispatch to keep stock and records accurate, with a Monday-Thursday 08:00-16:45 and Friday 08:00-13:00 schedule.

This permanent position targets someone with manufacturing or warehouse experience. Experience with Kanban, stock control and replenishment is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Familiar with Kanban, stock control and material replenishment.
• Good understanding of health and safety principles and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Move goods using appropriate manual handling and forklift.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety policies and safe systems of work.
• Replenish lines within Pick and Pack areas to high stock levels.
• Check stock locations accurately during loading and picking.
• Be multi-skilled to cover other departmental areas.
